I walked in Obama, a port town facing the Sea of Japan. Obama is a city with so many attractions that it can be said that the whole city is a tourist destination, and although it was not possible to go around very much in a few hours stay, this time it was designated as an important traditional buildings preservation district. I walked around the Obama Nishigumi area. Of course, the area where many traditional buildings remain is also attractive, but I was willing to take a long time to shoot from the station because of the atmosphere of the modern city including the shopping district. It’s the charm of Obama, and I wanted to capture it in a video because it could be a part of it. Turn back at Kosei-ji Temple at the western end of the city, return to the center by another route, and finish at Hachiman Shrine.
Enjoy walking around Obama!
